About the Tecla RGB

Tecla RGB 1, 2, 4, 6 and 8 are Zennio capacitive KNX switches with an 82.5 × 82.5 mm polycarbonate front and 1 to 8 RGB-backlit buttons^[1]. On Tecla you customise the backlit icons, while on the glass Flat RGB it is the whole glass artwork^[2]. The buttons work individually or in pairs, and the touch beep can be disabled by a parameter or an object^[2].

Tecla is designed for European and Swiss back boxes and fixes without a frame to the ZACHOLD3 plate supplied^[1]^[2]. A portrait or landscape layout can be chosen in the application on the 2, 6 and 8-button models^[2].

Every model has a thermostat, a built-in temperature sensor, a proximity sensor and two inputs for a probe, motion sensors or push buttons, with KNX Data Secure support^[1]. Bus consumption at 29 V ranges from 13.5 mA on the Tecla RGB 1 to 24.5 mA on the Tecla RGB 6; the four-button model draws 24 mA and the eight-button one 21.3 mA^[1]. For drywall 13–18 mm thick there is the ZACFLTEC flush-mounting accessory, but in it the switch loses the built-in temperature sensor and all sounds^[3].
