About the Flat Sensato v2

The Flat Sensato v2 is a Zennio wall KNX sensor for temperature and relative humidity in an 82 × 82 mm Flat-series housing, fitted to a back box on the ZACHOLD3 metal base supplied with it^[1]. The built-in sensor reads temperature to ±0.5 °C and humidity to ±3% RH with ±0.25% RH drift a year; a colour LED can be set to show humidity: green for comfort, yellow for extreme and red for very extreme levels^[1].

From these readings the device works out the dew point and sends temperature and humidity alarms^[1]. It watches for condensation on surfaces but does not measure their temperature: it comes over KNX and is compared with the dew point, and an offset gives the warning before condensation forms^[2][3]. It also has two independent thermostats and two inputs for buttons and contacts, NTC probes or motion detectors^[1].

Humidity accuracy depends on installation. Once the cables are in, the back box must be sealed completely, with an airtight box, polyurethane foam or silicone, and the spot must be free of draughts and direct sun^[1]. It runs on the KNX bus at 4.1 mA^[1]. If a room needs only temperature in the same design, we will offer the Flat AmbienT: not a KNX device but a probe for an input of another Zennio device^[4].
