ZVICX40S
CX40 — 4″ KNX capacitive touchscreen for room control, silver
About the CX40
The CX40 is a Zennio room controller with a square 4-inch capacitive screen that works in portrait orientation only; the menu uses a 3 × 3 grid and a page a 3 × 2 grid, so its 9 pages hold up to 54 controls and indicators[1]. It runs two independent thermostats[2].
The controller needs no separate power supply, but it draws up to 36.9 mA at 29 V and up to 45 mA at 24 V from the KNX bus[2]. It weighs 103 g and operates at 0…+55 °C[2]. The four inputs take a temperature probe, motion sensors and push buttons or dry-contact sensors[2].
Fitted to the USB-C port, a ZACCO2S dongle lets the controller read CO₂ with ±50 ppm accuracy[3], report the level to the bus and run configured actions when CO₂ reaches set values[1]. A separate CO2 Control function regulates the CO₂ in the room by ventilating it[1]. With the dongle the bus voltage must be 24–31 V DC; without it the controller accepts 21–31 V[3][2].
