About the Z35 v3

The Z35 v3 is a compact Zennio KNX touch panel for a single room: a 3.5-inch landscape screen of 320 × 240 pixels, 7 pages and up to 56 controls and indicators, plus a settings page^[1][2]. It runs on the KNX bus alone, drawing up to 25 mA at 29 V, so no auxiliary supply is needed^[2]. Within the Z35 family, only the v3 supports KNX Data Secure and a CO₂ sensor^[1].

The housing holds temperature, humidity, luminosity and proximity sensors; humidity is measured across 0–100% RH with ±5% accuracy^[2]. For accurate readings, the panel is mounted away from airflows and direct sunlight^[2]. The ZACCO2S sensor plugs into the USB-C port of the panel and adds 18 mA at 29 V to its bus consumption; the room has to be ventilated once a week for correct CO₂ measurement^[3]. With the sensor, the bus voltage must stay within 24–31 V DC instead of the panel's own 21–31 V^[3][2].

The four inputs accept a remote temperature probe, up to two motion sensors wired in parallel, or the dry contact of a push button^[2]. The panel clock is updated by a device with an RTC or an NTP client^[2]. It mounts on a square or round back box with the ZACHOLD3 plate supplied and measures 86.1 × 82.1 × 34.6 mm^[2].
