About the ALLinBOX 1612 v3

The ALLinBOX 1612 v3 (ZPR1612V3) is a Zennio multifunction device for the panel that combines a 640 mA KNX power supply with a 29 V DC auxiliary output, a KNX-IP interface, sixteen 16 A relays and 12 analogue-digital inputs; its 72 × 90 × 212 mm housing takes 12 DIN units^[1]. The ALLinBOX itself is connected to 110–240 V AC mains and draws up to 250 mA at 230 V; because of that consumption it must not be supplied through the bus from another power supply^[1].

The bus and the auxiliary output share the 640 mA: IAD + IBUS ≤ 640 mA^[1]. The interface handles up to 5 KNXnet/IP tunnelling connections and supports KNX IP Secure and KNX Data Secure, and the device clock synchronises over NTP^[1]. The outputs build up to 8 shutter channels or up to 2 fan coils, two- or four-pipe, with 32 A allowed per block^[1].

The inputs take push buttons and contacts, temperature probes and motion sensors in any combination, up to two motion sensors per input^[1]. It has 4 standard and 4 Hospitality thermostats^[2], while the datasheet gives climate control for up to 4 rooms^[1]. The housing has no manual output buttons; the outputs are tested with an IR remote in Test On mode, which is not included^[1].
