ZENNIO Actuators: section overview
This section includes 35 models of Zennio actuators. The DIN-rail MAXinBOX line spans models from 6 to 24 relay outputs at 16 A, including the combined MAXinBOX 66 v3, 88 and 1212 with analogue/digital inputs; for blinds there are MAXinBOX SHUTTER 4CH/8CH v3 with 8 A outputs and ShutterBOX Drive with 2–8 channels. The compact MINiBOX 20/25/40/45 provide 2–4 outputs at 16 A and up to 5 A/D inputs, MicroBOX 12 and 22 take 1 DIN unit, and inBOX 20/24 v3 (Ø 51.4 mm) fit distribution boxes or wall back boxes. For industrial loads there are IndustrialBOX 2/4/8/12 with 20 A outputs and capacitive loads up to 200 µF, plus Current versions that measure the current of each output. ALLinBOX 46/88/1612 combine an actuator, a KNX power supply and a KNX-IP interface. Most actuators support KNX Secure. Frequently asked questions
How do I choose an actuator by channel count?
Count the controlled circuits (lighting, socket groups, blind drives) and add a reserve: MAXinBOX with 6–24 outputs suits the distribution board, and MINiBOX with 2–4 outputs or the 1-DIN-unit MicroBOX suits small nodes. For a distribution box or wall back box there are the 2-output inBOX 20/24 v3, Ø 51.4 × 26.6 mm; different phases must not be connected to them.
What do the A/D inputs in actuators provide?
They accept conventional switches, push buttons, contacts and temperature probes — the signals reach the KNX bus without separate input modules. A/D inputs are found, for example, on MINiBOX 25/45 (5 inputs), MAXinBOX 66 v3, 88 and 1212 (6, 8 and 12 inputs) and MicroBOX 12/22 (2 inputs).
