About the HeatingBOX 230V

The HeatingBOX 230V v2 is a family of Zennio KNX actuators that switch 230 V AC thermal valve drives on radiators and underfloor heating circuits[1]. Each of the four sizes, 2X, 4X, 6X and 8X, has as many multi-purpose inputs and independent thermostats as outputs: 2, 4, 6 or 8[2][3]. The 2X and 4X take 2 DIN modules (67 × 90 × 36 mm)[4][5], the 6X and 8X take 4 (67 × 90 × 70 mm)[6][7].

All outputs share one 230 V AC supply input, and a 10 A breaker is recommended upstream[7]. Each output is rated for 200 mA steady and 2.5 A inrush current, and up to 5 valve drives may share it within these limits[5]. Four short circuits within 3 minutes lock it for 3 minutes, shown by the programming LED blinking blue[7][5]. On-board push buttons and LEDs let you switch the outputs by hand and see their state[2][3].

Each input takes a Zennio probe or a third-party NTC set up in ETS, or a push button or contact[2][3]. Bus current grows with size: 5.9 mA for the 2X[4], 7.9 mA for the 4X[5], 12.2 mA for the 6X[6] and 12.9 mA for the 8X[7], for the line power budget.
