About the KLIC-DI v2

The KLIC-DI v2 is a Zennio gateway for Daikin SKY Air commercial units and VRV industrial systems, joined to the indoor unit's 2-wire line for two-way data^[1]. The 67 × 90 × 36 mm DIN-rail module sits in the panel, on a line of up to 100 m to the unit, and draws 4.5 mA from the KNX bus^[2]. ETS sets the unit type, VRV or Sky Air^[1].

If the Daikin wired remote stays, decide before start-up who leads, the gateway or the remote: one is master, the other slave. On R-32 units a Madoka remote is mandatory as master, with the gateway as slave; after a role change the remote is restarted by cutting its power. In VRV without a BS box only one indoor unit switches the mode, and the rest choose only modes compatible with it: while it heats, they get heat and fan^[1].

Setpoints span 16–32 °C, the fan has 2, 3 or 5 speeds as the unit allows, and a filter-cleaning flag can be reset from KNX^[1]. Each of the two inputs serves a probe, a Zennio motion sensor or a push button, on cable runs up to 30 m^[2].
