About the EyeZen TP v2

The EyeZen TP v2 is a compact Zennio ceiling KNX motion detector with a light sensor: Ø 58 × 41 mm outside, a Ø 51 mm hole in a false ceiling, 36 g^[1]. Its zone is the same from 2.7 to 4 m mounting height: Ø 6 m for movement across it and Ø 2.5 m for movement straight towards the sensor^[1]. Its light sensor, matched to the spectral sensitivity of the human eye, measures 0–2000 lx to ±3% with 1 lx resolution^[1].

Springs hold it in a false ceiling; surface mounting needs the ZACEZENSF base^[1]. After power-up the LED blinks red for a minute while the motion sensor gets ready^[2]. It works at 0 to +45 °C, though above 35 °C the detection range may shrink^[1].

ETS offers six motion channels, a pair of constant-light channels and a separate occupancy channel, master or slave, started by a door sensor signal over KNX^[2]. The EyeZen TP v2 has no temperature sensor or thermostat^[3][1] and draws 3.6 mA from the bus^[1]. If the sensor should sit on an input of a Zennio device rather than on the bus, the same-sized EyeZen IN does that^[4].
