About the KLIC-MITT v3

The KLIC-MITT v3 is a Zennio gateway for Mitsubishi Electric air conditioners that plugs into the IT connector on the indoor unit's board: CN105, or CN92 on some boards^[1]. A cable of about 70 cm (2 mm pitch) reaches the connector; the 39 × 39 × 14 mm, 31 g module goes in a distribution or wall box and draws 4.1 mA from KNX^[1]. It is derived from the KLIC-MITT v2^[2].

The gateway gives 2, 3 or 4 fan speeds with automatic and quiet modes and position and swing of the horizontal and vertical flaps, all as the unit allows, plus a 10–31 °C setpoint. Only the horizontal flaps have an automatic position. I-See mode is supported and sends both sets of flaps to automatic^[2].

A wired remote can stay, but its commands override the gateway and the unit may ignore some gateway settings^[2]. Without a wired remote, a unit error, once fixed, is cleared by an Off command from KNX. A control error is cleared differently: remove power from the unit, connect the correct number of controllers and power it up again^[2]. The two inputs accept a Zennio probe or an NTC with known values, a motion detector or a potential-free contact^[1].
