ZENNIO Interfaces & Audio: section overview
This section contains 4 models of Zennio audio and interface devices. The central device is AudioInRoom: a KNX audio controller with Bluetooth, a line input and a built-in power amplifier, paired with AudioInRoom 4″ (20 W RMS) and 6.5″ (60 W RMS) loudspeakers available in white and anthracite. The IRSC Open controller drives audio/video equipment over IR, translating commands from the KNX bus. The AUDIO OUTPUTS and AUX INPUT terminal blocks for AudioInRoom are in the “Mounting and accessories” list under the grid; the 24–28 VDC 60 W power supply is in the System section. One AudioInRoom, with two amplified outputs (stereo or mono), covers one or two zones of a hotel room or living space; up to 2 devices can be paired over Bluetooth 4.2, and it runs on 24 VDC / 2.5 A. It is controlled from the same Zennio panels as the rest of the smart home.
Frequently asked questions
What is IRSC Open for?
It converts KNX commands into IR signals, letting smart-home scenes power on and control TVs and other audio/video equipment. The IRSC Open application records the remote's IR codes and replays them later; the 45 × 45 × 14 mm housing fits a distribution box or wall back box.
